Plan your trip before you go on holiday to make sure you get the most out of it. As one of the most popular holiday destination, Turkey attracts thousands of tourists each year. Here we will tell you all the things you can do in Turkey?

  • Make sure you make the most of your hotel as Turkey is known for having some of the best hotels in Europe. Obviously the more stars a hotel has the more facilities you should expect. If you want a little bit of luxury try a 3-4 star hotel which often have access to watersports, spas, Turkish baths, bars and restaurants.
  • To see the sights of Turkey’s coastline, take a boat trip. So if this interests you go to the harbour and take a look at the different boat trips on offer. Depending on what you want to do, you will find the perfect boat trip for you.
  • You can pick from so many activities in Turkey. In Turkey there are many different historical places of interest and two of the most well known are Pamukale which are a collection of mountainside pools which are made from calcium and look like clouds. Ephesus is an ancient ruined city where Plato lived, and is a great attraction to visit. This is an experience unlike any other and something that anyone over the age of 10 will enjoy on Turkey holidays, children younger than this may find the heat too oppressive.
  • Turkey’s local dishes include its famous kebabs. You will find so many choices for things to eat, you will find it difficult to choose. Try not to enjoy it so much, otherwise your bikini may not fit you by the end of the holiday!
  • Enjoy a Turkish evening in Turkey and dance the night away- perfect for everyone if you want to let your hair down. This is great fun for all the family and you might even be encouraged to take to the floor yourself. To experience a local delicasy try Raki, however it is strong so be careful!
  • Go on a camel ride, these are not always for the faint hearted as camels do tend to have a mind of their own when it comes to stopping and starting but they are great fun and worth trying out.

So now you know a few of the things to do on a Turkey holiday you will probably be thinking about booking yourself on one. Full of activities, you will have a fantastic time on your holiday in Turkey.
