Are you a flying person or a cruising person? Having asked that we all know it depends on the type of holiday they people are looking to go to. People who are looking for luxury cruises are happy staying in one place for a week or two and enjoy themselves within the cruise. When you fly to a country for holiday you have options, you can visit different places in that country or stay in the same place, but most people tend to visit different towns. When you are traveling on a cruise ship you will be on the ship for days and some people might not like that, it does stop in a dock but only for few hours, which doesn’t allow you enough time to look at the city’s tourists attraction.

Let’s take an example and say you want to go on holiday in August on a bank holiday weekend. You can’t really go there on a cruise because it will probably take you three days to get there and that’s your holiday over? Cruising is not the best option for 3 days holiday but if you have booked more holidays officially then it might be an option. Short holidays is when you look for cheap price holidays somewhere in Europe, a place you haven’t visited before. That is what I do when I go on holiday to Europe. Many people like visiting the same city every time they go on a short break. I like to visit new places every time I travel.

Over the winter I am planning to go to the Caribbean and I have 20 days off and this is going to be a cruise trip. I will be travelling in Cunard cruises from Spain to Caribbean Islands. The trip cost came up to £2,000 for 20 days which is a great deal to be fair. To be honest I got a fantastic deal as I won a competition in which Cunard cruise lines were giving away 30% off their cruise tickets. I would also like to cruise in Regent Cruises as it has one of the biggest cruise ships in the World.

I hate flying, I’m not scared of flying, I just detest it. There is nothing about it, as far as I can see, to like. You arrive at the airport hours before you fly just to wait around before being poked and prodded by some hairy backed customs official, wait around a bit more until you’re herded onto an oversized aluminium pipe where you’re crammed into one of the most uncomfortable seats you’ve ever sat in with your knees almost touching your nose. You take off on a journey that will see you kept in that position for hours, the boredom is almost palpable and the only thing that can distract you from the numbness of your rear is the howling kid kicking the back of your chair.

When you finally arrive at your destination you find that your luggage is also taking a holiday. In Germany. Which is splendid but you’ve just touched down in LA! It finally catches up with you just in time to board your flight home so you can re-live the experience all over again. The wonder that is the jet age!

Compare that with taking a jaunt down to Southampton for example, then climbing the gangplank of a silversea cruise. You may make your way to your suite and settle down, maybe have some lovely champagne brought to your room while you wait for some-one to bring your luggage to you. Perhaps you’ll have a butler draw you a bath before dinner. Will it be a vacuum-packed slice of indistinguishable protein accompanied by something that was once vegetation? No, indeed if you’re on anything like Oceania cruises you’ll be eating French inspired cuisine served by formal waiters from Versace bone china, Reidel crystal glassware and Christoffle silverware.

Rather than flying to your destination Cunard cruises are your destination, they are a part, if not all, of your holiday. Why not take your time to get where you’re going if you’re travelling in luxury? The longer it takes the better I say!

Everyone has options on a cruise. Your cruise experience will depend on a number of factors, not least of which is the size of the liner you are traveling on. A little research will influence your experience, so look into other people’s cruise encounters.

If you’re looking at a mega-liner, expect a lot of people. They accommodate many people, and have sufficient room for them, but don’t plan to spend much alone time on them. You can expect many things like casinos, activities, dining, pools, and games. A lot of liners have gyms, spas, and beauty facilities. These bigger cruises have non stop activity.

Smaller ships also are available. These ships tend to offer a more elegant, refined atmosphere, with better amenities in terms of decor and service. These will usually have less casual dress codes, but should have spa facilities. There will be more of a neighborly feel. These may be more conducive to a romantic getaway.

No matter which type of cruise ship you opt for, there are several safety tips you should keep in mind while on board. As you should be anywhere, be alert. Use the ship’s safe, and don’t leave valuables in your cabin. Stay out of off limits areas and dark hallways. Be careful of your alcohol intake. It’s tempting to take advantage of the cocktails on the afternoon, but by evening you won’t be able to stand. You’ll get reckless, and might have dire consequences.

Cruises are great vacation experiences. You don’t have to leave the ship to have a great vacation. Diverse eating experiences, plenty of activity, excellent entertainment and generally good service typify most cruise liners. If you book early, you can avoid the super expensive cruise costs, and get up to 50% off. Remember to keep an eye on your spending on board. You will be provided with a C Note Card, which is like a credit card you use on the ship and you will have to pay it off in full before you disembark! Take advantage of the duty free shops on board as well as in any ports you may visit. Enjoy your trip.

Last Saturday one of the biggest cruise ship Crown Princess stopped in dock in Liverpool. The ship was sailing around British Isles. The British Isles is 315, 121, 673.9 square metre long. Including Ireland and England, the British Isles has over six thousand islands. Getting back to the cruise, the stunning princess crown is the flagship of princess cruises that can carry upto 4,800 people including passengers and crew.

After her touring around the Isles she stopped in Liverpool for 11 hours. This gave the passengers the opportunity to view iconic histories of Liverpool which also included the football stadium of Liverpool. From Liverpool the Crown Princess sailed to Belfast, and then from Belfast she would sailed to Greenock on the west coast of Scotland.

To cover the British Isle in a cruise takes 12 days. Per person the cruise cost can be upto £1,956 and it’s worth it. In 2006 Princess Crown began it’s sailing. And from 2009 during the winter the Princess Crown sails to the Caribbean and in the summer it sails to Europe. It is one of some luxury cruises which has apartments, actually it might just be the only one. I have already started looking for a cruise holiday after seeing the stunning Crown Princess in Liverpool. I also haven’t been in one for a long time, it’s about time. And I think it might even be Crown Princess this winter which sails to the Caribbean. I am hoping it would be a good surprise to my wife.

I have been in a cruise before which was in Fred Olsen cruises, which was also a wonderful experience, when we sailed through the Mediterranean Sea. Cruises have always been a fantasy vacation for families all around the World. Most people say cruises are for elder generation but these days all cruises have activities for people with any ages. So anyone can go on a cruise and have a fantastic time.

Unfortunately, while the majority of people would associate a relaxing holiday with cruising, many other people would immediately think of the much publicised NovoVirus.

The NovoVirus is a collection of viruses that affect a persons’ stomach and intestines, causing them to suffer from vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach cramps and several other unpleasant symptoms. People tend to link the virus with cruise ships due to the high volume of people who have had the disease after taking a cruise.

However, a new machine called Cirrus 3 (The Fresh Air Machine) could present a solution to the issue faced by sea and river cruises. The machine is more than just a simple air purifier or filter; it’s an advanced biotech product that generates a stream of hydroxl radicals, which destroy harmful bacteria and viruses found in the air and on surfaces.

The virus is generally spread via infected people preparing food or drink for others, direct human contact or physical interaction or coming into contact with an infected object or surface.

The technology could be helpful to more companies than just those offering luxurious Nile River cruises, as the machine can also be used in schools, hotels, restaurants, care homes and numerous others.

Although the majority of cruise liners are doing quite a good job of attempting to tackle the NovoVirus, (putting a strict code of conduct and general precautions in place), the Cirrus 3 helps them remove the problem altogether; hugely reassuring customers.

The biotech produt also has the added benefit of massively reassuring customers and generally making people feel more confident about taking a cruise holiday.

So if you were thinking about taking your family on a cruise holiday but were put off by the NovoVirus fears, maybe now’s the time to take advantage of those seasonanal cruise offers.

Crystal Cruise Line

There are several cruise lines in Europe and because of this the competition has increased. Therefore of the competition people have now started to do a vote on positives and the negatives of the cruise lines. There are many people who go on cruises around Europe in several cruise lines. After their trip some write reviews or comment on their trip through a certain cruise line. The positive review gives a point to the cruise line and negative takes the point away. This system was introduced couple of years ago.

The below are the lists of the top three cruise lines in Europe:

Celebrity cruises

They have always been a big name but recently because of the help they provided to pick people up from Spain and bring them back to England because of volcanic ash has given them lots of votes. It has a friendly enviroment for family and also includes activities for your children from the age of 3 to 15. Parents and children both can interact with the people from different culture and countries.

Crystal Cruises

Crystal cruises offers various children’s program which are supervised by someone if there are lots of children on board. The staffs and the service is fantastic. Everyone on board is friendly and always willing to help. The children will have the opportunity to meet people from different cultures which can help their improve their cultural awareness.

Cunard Cruises

Cunard cruises includes two of the largest cruise ships afloat, what are Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2.These ships have a teen centre. They have trained British nannies and children’s nurses on board, which is a fantastic facility to have. If any of the parents would like to go for a meal or drinks without their children.

There are several other cruise lines around in Europe like Disney cruise line, Princess cruises line, Costa cruise lines, Regent cruise line, Holland America cruise line, Royal Caribbean Internation and many more.

Research by few cruise lines in the UK shows that people ages 40 and over go on luxury cruises than people from other ages. Seems like all of M4 corridor likes going on cruises. I am only joking. This research started two years ago in June, they wanted to see if the audience will change in that period of time. This research has helped them figure out who their target audiences are.

The research shows 80% audience were the age of 40 years and over. 20% included people under 40 and children. From that 20% there were only 0.25% of people who were in the age circle of 20 to 30, not surprising really. At that age people are at University and after that they racing to get a good job and trying to make it big in the World. 20 to 30 is the time when you have to work very hard to get somewhere in your life, no time for cruise holidays and also don’t think if you have money then either. Most of us are on debt after University because of the loans we borrowed from the Local Education Authority, so cannot afford a cruising holiday.

People over 40 have had few years to save money or they are obviously doing well in your life. As you get more experience you tend to get job offers with more money, then you can save for luxury cruises. The research was very interest, which was done by MSC cruises and Windstar Cruises , to find their target market and audience.

I work in a travel industry so this knowledge is great for me. Now I know who to recommend luxury cruises and who to recommend short trips. Hope this post was useful for you too.

When the summer comes several people are looking to go on luxury cruises. A lot of people are going for a cruise to Caribbean, South America and Caribbean. In UK the weather has been pretty good this year and it surely looks like we will be having a great summer. Even if we have a good summer people are still looking to go on holiday. Because of previous summers it has now become a habit of many people.

In the summer of 2010 the cruise line’s research shows that many people prefer going towards the Caribbean for cruising. Few cruise lines did some research not so long ago like Silversea Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Princess Cruises and Fred Olsen Cruises shows that Caribbean has been a huge favourite for most people. Mediterranean cruise is in the second after Caribbean.

These cruise lines have luxurious cruises. The services they provide is outstanding. The entire trip would be full of luxury, pleasure and fun, so this will a journey to remember. For retail therapy there are some mini shopping centres where you can enjoy shopping and you can enjoy few drinks is few cocktails bars they have. The scenes of sunset and sunrise is magnificent to watch.

Caribbean is famous for its beaches, weather and resorts. That is why people tend to choose Caribbean for their cruise and relaxing holiday. The warm weather under a beautiful sun, beside the sea on the beach sipping on the finest Caribbean rum just makes me feel like going there now. But its a shame I can’t be there because I have no more holidays from work. I actually went to St.Vincent 18 months ago for one my my close friend’s wedding. This is where Pirate of the Caribbean was filmed. I had a fantastic time and I did not want to come back but had to.

If you are thinking of going on cruises this summer and looking for a cheap cruise line, are you struggling to find the low cost cruise, why don’t you go online and look for the resource on the Internet. The Internet these days has information on anything and everything. Google search engine (the biggest search engine in the World) is used Worldwide by billions of people. Several people (Millions to be precise) use the Internet to find information and products that they are looking for, so you will be able to find out cheap cruising holiday deals on the Internet too.

Most people are shopping online these days. Internet also provides feedbacks and reviews of the product you want to buy online, this way you will get to find out if the product is worth buying or not because the feedbacks are from the people who have used the product in the past. Few weeks ago when I went online I saw some positive feedbacks and reviews on Silversea cruises on their beautiful cruise and fantastic service. Celebrity cruises got mentioned because of their major help, when they sent their cruise to help the stranded in Spain when the volcanic ash cancelled all the airlines.

From my experience I have used three different cruise lines before Silversea, Regent and Fred Olsen cruises. For me I have enjoyed all three cruise lines and had a mind blowing experience. The service of all of these three cruises was fantastic. The people were very friendly and the atmosphere was to die for. I have to be honest that I did not want to come back home. I think that was because I was with my family and we all were having a fantastic time.

In 2011 we are planning to go on another cruise but different cruise line, Royal Caribbean cruise. We are already looking forward to this cruise and the Bahamas. I found good cheap deals on these cruiseline on the Internet. Yes it did take me a while to find the deals but it is certainly worth it.

Many people like to go on holiday at least once every year if they can. More than 20% of UK population go on holiday each year but this is just an approximate value. Many people go on different types of vacations. Some prefer going on luxury cruises holidays and some are looking for holidays within their budget, doesn’t matter where they go they just want to enjoy themselves.

What would be your ideal holiday?

Many people from UK going to another European country for a heavy weekend away or for few days. Heavy weekend meaning weekend which is full of drinks, sun and dancing. That is all and nothing else. They like visiting places with good warm weather as in the UK we hardly have sunshine. There places such as Barcelona, Mallorca, Ibiza, Istanbul and Athens full of British tourists. We just love going to Spain, Greece and Turkey. Whereas some people enjoy a long trip to the Caribbean islands in a luxury cruise.

To be honest with you age factor comes in play when choosing the holidays. the research in 2009 shows that young people upto the age of 30 (singles) enjoy going to holidays where they can enjoy outdoor activities and night lifes. Whereas people with family like to go for a different reasons because they have children who want to go to Disney land. Disney land is a great example where both parents and children can have a fantastic time, I have been there myself and I can say it was a great experience for my family.

From my experience when I was single I would like to go to places where I can enjoy few drinks with my friends and also relax on the beach the next day. I am 42 now with three children so to be honest I would rather choose a holiday where I can get some relaxation time with peaceful environment but also a place where my children can have a stunning time but not Disney land again I don’t think I can handle the rides anymore. We have tried MSC cruises and Windstar cruises in the pas tna dthe experience was great, had a lot of fun.
