If you have never been to Florence, Italy, this could be the right year to discover a real jewel in the guts of Tuscany’s countryside. Florence is thought of as one of the most dear cradles of EU culture, and gave birth to great gurus in all human arts.

Florence it’s not only about art; Tuscan cuisine is another great reason to go to the city. Florence offers a number of museums. One of the most well known, the Galleria degli Uffizi offers works by da Vinci, Titian, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandt, Goya and Botticelli.

If you love sculptures more than paintings, be prepared to savor the sweetness of the Bargello Museum. Florence hotels close to the train station are the nicest ones and the most cosy to visit all of the sights and participate to Florence Events.

For romantic couples, my personal favorite are the Boboli Gardens, a huge park close to the Uffizi Gallery. Florence isn’t just about art ; an energetic nightlife is also the true mark of this surprising city. If you want to start the night on the right foot, you can try “aperitivo” and enjoy some drinks before dinner.

If you cannot exist without the thrill of a DanceFloor, be sure to visit Area51 close to the Uffizi Gallery. Don’t be shocked if you see some famous faces on your visit as Meccano is commonly visited by VIPs. The historic middle of Florence is also know for Irish boozers offering the best beer in the entire world. Elegant clubs may also be found near Ponte Vecchio. Saturday is the best day to enjoy Florence clubbing scene.

As the birthplace of Gucci, Florence is a shopper’s paradise. Stroll along the thru de’ Tournabuoni and thru della Vigna Nuova to shop Ferragamo, Gucci, Mila Schon and Armani. If you happen to be touring Florence in time for Florence events you’ll truly enjoy yourself.
