Travelling to Egypt was scary!

My name is James, and it’s been quite a while since I had been on a plane. In fact were talking more like 13 years, and the last time I passed out. Now I didn’t feel as though I had a fear of flying, I have never really been scared about the prospect of flying, I just passed out. Going back on to a plane was very low on my priority list, and decided to stay at home for holidays in future, may sound sad, but obviously it wasn’t in the house. About 2 years into my marriage, it was time to face my fears and get on a plane, all that way to Egypt, a massive mission!

Just remembering how little I did actually remember of flying was scary enough… Something else I better tell you as well, this also happened on the previous return flight as well… So I may have started to panic a little bit, even though I didn’t know what I was panicking about! So there was the plane, choices had to be made, and the choice to turn around and run wasn’t there. So I sat down, and nothing seemed to happen, my heart wasn’t racing and everything seemed fine, I could see straight as well. Even after the four massive engines under the wings started going and we approached the run way i was fine!

I couldn’t figure out why I didn’t pass out this time, or why I passed out the last time, everything just seemed to be fine this time. I was actually getting pretty excited about my holiday now. I was eager to get back on the plane and get flying again. Everything just couldn’t stay going all smooth could it! The Captain in a loud but confident voice, boomed that we were going to be hitting some turbulence. Things got really bad, the plane felt as though it was going to crack up in the sky, and there was even a light storm brewing outside. I couldn’t believe it but I made it, however somehow I did. I never thought I would be saying this, but I kind of wish I blacked out!

Egypt holidays turned out to be something I never returned to, next up was a decision between Maldives holidays or Sri Lanka holidays, both involve a plane!

What is the reason for going on holiday?

People across my county found this question quite hard to answer. Or some just hesitate for a while and then blurt something out. The other answer, that is somewhat annoying is the one that goes something like “Because we wanted to”! So there is in short, no real actual reason for anybody going on holiday if this is the case. There must be some sort of notion behind you wanting to go on holiday, but what is it?

I came across some people who just wanted the time off work, and mumbled incessantly. Now I can actually understand this answer, although I am not sure why people feel like this. If you don’t enjoy your work, or if it doesn’t give you what you need, then get a new one, unless of course it pays well, in which case keep it!

When we get to that day of the week, what is it called, oh yeah; Friday, is the weekend not time off work? Now I then asked others why they wanted to go and they said (in the extreme minority) that they wanted to meet new cultures. This is really a planned holiday, and something that is good for body and mind, not to mention the chance to do something really different. I can understand that some people would be willing to spend money to experience a new way of life.

Now the answer that really rubbed me up the wrong way was “Because there is nothing else to do”! To these people I had to hold back some lecturing and general anger. What do you mean there is nothing else to do, that makes no sense, of course there is! This is not good for my Brain, I don’t want to here this, once again another answer that doesn’t actually answer anything.

However, do we all have to have a REASON to go on holiday? No of course you don’t, it’s your money, and you deserve to spend it how you see fit. Don’t let anyone else tell you any different.

For Caribbean holidays, Maldives holidays, Sri Lanka holidays, maybe you should visit a tour operator!

Been thinking about the best Hotels for Christmas holidays this year? You want to know what are the best locations, and here we have them. SO here are the top 3 places in the world that you could go to for your Christmas holiday this year:

Barbados. Discovery Bay by Rex Resorts is one amazing place for you to take your Christmas holidays. This may be a luxury holiday, but when you consider the price (which is very low) it feels much more in reach. The beaches are very clear and the accommodation is very nice. Barbados is home to Bridgetown, a recommended place for all tourists to visit when they are in Barbados. The island of Barbados is considered by many people to be the Party Island of the Caribbean.

The Island that is St Lucia. This is definitely a holiday for those that like to relax and get some spa treatment, the Le Sport is truly amazing. All the rooms have air conditioning, great ocean views and twenty four hours a day service. So there will be no need to even leave your room. If your a golfing person then this a great holiday location for you, although saying that, there are other activities as well from, fencing to archery. Even if you don’t know any of these, you can get taught. If you have a little more money to burn, you can head down to the Capital of St Lucia, Castries, to get some much wanted shopping done.

The Maldives. The most expensive of all our locations and it is called the “Lily Beach Resort and Spa”. This hotel is considered by many to be a 6 star hotel, and looking at the accommodation you won’t be surprised. If you want somewhere to stay where you can get away from people and spend a week or two in the middle of nowhere, then this is as close to heaven that you are going to get. Huvahedhoo is a glorious looking Maldives island, and the hotel on this island isn’t actually on the island at all, it hovers above the sea on stilts. A very stunning hotel.

Maldives holidays, Dubai holidays and Sri Lanka holidays are well on the rise and this is thanks to the holidays on offer.
